- Biography
- Dr. Yi Ding is a tenure-track assistant professor of computer science at Georgia State University. Ding leads a small group of students conducting research in the areas of multimodal machine learning and human-computer interaction. Ding’s interests include how we can use and improve technologies to better understand human behavior and social signals, as well as how these technologies can be used to benefit human health, education, and communities. Before coming to Georgia State, Ding worked in industry for many years as an engineer and researcher. Ding recieved his doctorate in Computer Science from the University of California.
