ATLANTA —The Journal of Emergency Management (JEM) Editorial Review Board has published its special issue titled: Leaving Nobody Behind: Emergency Management in an Inclusive Way. The issue, Vol. 23 No. 2 (2025): March/April was published March 14, 2025, alongside its dynamic educational website (www.leavenobodybehind.info), aims to bridge critical gaps in disaster preparedness, response, and recovery, especially for communities that have traditionally been overlooked. Georgia State University Doctoral Student, Joint Special Operations University Non-Resident Fellow, and Transcultural Conflict and Violence Presidential Fellow Sonny S. Patel, guest edited and laid out the goals and vision for this unique special issue. It is incumbent on every emergency manager and the broader disaster community to incorporate the research and practice presented on this timely special issue.
