ATLANTA — Georgia State University Student, and Transcultural Conflict and Violence Presidential Fellow, Alex Keyu Chen presented research at the 66th annual conference for American Association of Chinese Studies in Las Vegas, Nevada over the weekend. The annual conference of American Association for Chinese Studies was held from October 4-6, 2024 in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Department of Political Science in University of Nevada Las Vegas . Keyu presented his research project titled “Rivalry on Human Rights Discourse: Sentiment Analysis and Topic Modeling of 2002-2023 China-U.S. Human Rights Reports” which is part of the session “Quantitative Analysis and Politics in China and Taiwan”. The American Association for Chinese Studies(AACS), founded in 1959, is the only academic society in America devoted exclusively to the general area of Chinese studies.
