ATLANTA — Georgia State University Doctoral Student, Joint Special Operations University Non-Resident Fellow, and Transcultural Conflict and Violence Presidential Fellow, Sonny Patel has been elected as a Board Member for the Millennium Campus Network (MCN), a prestigious organization dedicated to cultivating the next generation of social impact leaders.
MCN works directly with civically engaged undergraduates, helping them develop core values, hone skills, and take action to strengthen communities. The organization’s mission is to train future leaders to rethink paradigms that perpetuate inequality, promote a human-centric and collaborative approach, and transform dialogue into action. With programs reaching over 5,000 students from more than 49 countries annually, MCN’s growth has been made possible by the impeccable stewardship of its Board of Directors. As a new board member, Patel will contribute to maintaining MCN’s strategic direction, guiding decision-making processes, and ensuring accountability.
